Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was best known for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). The role she played was that of Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her mother and father Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. While growing up Aubrey was a part of The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission two times in order for her to play the part in Nashville. Peeples played as a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role in Necessary Rustness (1991). She was in two made-for-television films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played a significant part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples revealed her bipolar illness in an interview that she provided to NKD Magazine. Indiewire has ranked Peeples at the top of their list of the top actors younger than twenty in September of 2014.
